"The Revelation of Time", nominated as best exhibition

Vive.in and Eskape announced their candidates to The Best in Bogota 2010 in 27 categories, such as best music festival, best movie festival, best international work and best exhibition, among others.

In this last category, "The Revelation of Time", from the English artist Hannah Collins, competes against "Sensational of Mexican Design" and "Man Ray" (Luis Angel Arango Library) and "Hernán Díaz" (Modern Art Museum of Bogota).

This work, which people could observe until last November 27^th at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, was composed by the Audiovisuals La Mina, recorded with a gypsy community in Barcelona (Spain), presenting the main actors in the middle of an attractive esthetic and political social puzzle; Solitude and Company, presenting a man flying over his house in Algeria while other dreamer becomes president of France; and Parallel, which main topic was the migratory movement in Europe.

In this museum, photos were shown as well, such as the Lulo exhibition that gathered several images of this fruit that, according to Collins, was her first contact with Colombia; the Road Mvezo, composed by a series of works made in South Africa in the place where Nelson Mandela was born; and Transmigration, a sample that shows the transit of people from the countryside to the city of Bogota.
