The best of science and technology at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Palmira

This day will aim at promoting and letting people know about the scientific and technological information that Universidad Nacional de Colombia produces daily. This event will gather 26 research groups that will share their results with society in general.

"Without any doubt, this is an opportunity to share the countless research projects that always contribute to improve the social problematic in each area of knowledge," affirms Manuel Sánchez, coordinator of the activity.

This third event will show the latest advances in science and technology made by the different research groups, which are focusing their efforts on topics such as environmental prospective, medicinal plants, agricultural and agroecological activities, genetic resources, tropical fruits, livestock farming, hydrobiological resources, among others.

Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Palmira invites all the university community, unions, associations, research centers, universities, enterprises, public sector, the community in general and the different communication media to participate in this important activity.

This Third Science and Technology Event will be carried out from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm in the Hernando Patiño Cruz Auditorium at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Palmira. It is free and open to the public.
